The Dermatology and Skin Cancer Institute was established by top dermatologist, Dr. Johann de Wet as a centre of excellence in dermatology.

Originally founded in the picturesque and historic town of Stellenbosch in the winelands district of the Western Cape, the institute offers the full scope of medical dermatology, skin cancer screening and treatment, as well as Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

The institute also acts as a referral centre for skin cancer patients from all over the Western Cape and comprises a multidisciplinary team of specialists providing patients with expert and evidence-based care.
